Promoters

Headed by Mr. M.P.K. Nair, the former chairman of Federal Bank, Ayuryogashram was initially set up as a partnership firm in September 2001 with Mr. M.P.V. Nair – Kochi, Mrs. Vasumathi Prabhakaran – Bangalore and Dr. P.V.Sudan – Guruvayur.

Later it became a private limited company, functioning under the name and style of Ayuryogashram Pvt. Ltd with all the former partners joining as share holders.

Mr. Nair, who conceived this project, is an eminent banker with over 40 Years of experience including a stint of 7.5 years, from 1988 to 1995 as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Federal Bank Ltd., Alwaye, Kerala. It was during his stewardship that the bank acquired prominence and status of an all India Institution. It was also during his chairmanship that the bank made a grand success of its public issue, which was oversubscribed 62 times and for the first time in its history, embarked on a massive computerization program. An active member of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce, since 1989, Mr. Nair was Chairman of its Kerala Chapter during 1998/1999 and Regional President of its South India Council for 2000/2001. After his retirement from the bank in December 1995, he functioned as the Chairman of the World Trade Center (I) Ltd, Cochin for two years and participated in WTC conventions in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, New York etc. Mr. Nair is the winner of the Best Businessman of Kerala Award (1994) instituted by the Deepika Group of Publications. He is currently associated with the Asianet Communications Ltd, Trivandrum as one of its Directors.
