About Us

Currently a private limited company, Ayuryogashram was initially set up as a partnership firm by Mr. M.P.K. Nair, the former chairman of Federal Bank Ltd.

The enterprise was started in the year 2001 by Mr. Nair, with Dr. P.V.M.Sudan, B.A.M.S., Mr. M.P. Venugopalan Nair and Mrs. Vasumathi Prabhakaran as co-parterns. Later it was converted as a Private Limited Company under the name and style of AYURYOGASHRAM PVT LTD, in the year 2004 Dr. K. Muralidharan Pillai M.D. (Ay) a well known authority on Ayurveda with over 3 decades of experience having been the principal of the Vaidyaratbam Ayurveda College, Thrissur and a popular author of many books on ayurveda. Under his able guidance and supervision Ayuryogashram has grown many folds.

Ayuryogashram is designed as a tranquil haven for practicing Ayurveda-one of the most ancient and traditional medical sciences. Unlike the other Ayurvedic Centers, Ayuryogashram assures you an efficient, friendly and highly personalized service. Resident doctors along with a cordial and friendly staff make the guests feel at home and at ease. We believe that Ayurvedic treatments respond well, when the patient is relaxed and happy. Ayuryogashram provides the discerning vacationer a combination of fun, health, yoga and various traditional meditation programs. Vacation time spent in Ayuryogashram is a time spent on rejuvenating the mind and the body.
Ayuryogashram functions from a century-old traditional building constructed in the ‘Nalukettu’ model. The ‘Nalukettu’ is the traditional upper class homestead ('tharavadu'), a quadrangular mansion with a centrally open courtyard, corridors, massive pillars and dormer windows typical of Kerala's Architectural Style.

Ayuryogashram provides variety of treatments mainly Pizhichil, Dhara(thakra dhara, siro dhara), Pathrapodalasweda, Nasyam, Abhyanga, Dhanyamla dhara, Ksheera dhoomam, Udwarthanam, Sirovasthi, Urovasthi, Kativasthi, Vasthi(Matra Vasthi, Sneha Vasthi, Kashaya Vasthi). It also provides other treatments like Njavara kizhi, Herbal facial, Avagaham, Medicated steam bath, Lepanam, Virechanam (Body purification therapy), Pichu, Anchanam, Dhanyamla lepam, Njavaratheppu, Thalam, etc. Ayurvedic packages includes: Relaxation & Stress Management Therapy, Body Immunization & Longevity Therapy, Body Purification Therapy, Obesity /Weight Shedding Packages, and Rejuvenation Packages.

Despite this traditional feel, the building has been renovated to provide the residents with all the modern amenities like luxurious furnishings, attached bathrooms, air conditioners, speciality treatment rooms, relaxation rooms etc. Spread across 2.5 acres of land the Ayuryogashram compound boasts of tall trees, sprawling lawns and an enticing Swimming Pool. It has lovely distant views of farmland and hills. It is very tastefully furnished, superbly maintained, and it has all facilities for comfortable stay with multi star comforts, good vegetarian food and authentic ayurvedic treatments.
